Being Positive

Lately my family has been suffering off certain bad things, but I've kept being positive and not making a drama of everything that was coming to our way.

I did panik for an hour the day I got the news my job would get cut... but then I took some deep breath and saw it as an oportunity to rest a little, focus more and better into my studies, and, perhaps, changing the type of job I had.

Well, this month I'm going to see some people who're coming to visit and that means a lot to me. Last week I had already two of this visitors, and I enjoyed it a lot, even being that much occupied with family stuff.

Also, it's been my favourite time of the year: Carnival and, althought I didn't have time to prepare it, I was so happy with my costume XD

just wanna change some stuff for the next time... but I liked it that much that next month I'll wear it again at the Comic Feir XD

By the way, I've been writting, but gotta make a break since Ms Williams and I have some work to do if we want Idolmania #2 to get published by next month U_U" and, anyway, the stuff I've been writting won't see the light till it's fully done XD

You've still got too many Upside-Down volumes to catch up, I'm sure of it!

Something I must remember

In Japan it's now the day. November 18th is the birthday of the person who I borrowed my surname from. And he's turning 30, an age that's so important to Japanese people, because it means you're been a whole decade as an adult, and you enter a more mature stage... or at least, this is what I've understood from the way all my Johnny's have celebrated their 30's and spoken about turning that age.

 

My dear Okatchi, you're always such an amazing inspiration, as all of my other beloved Johnny's, but you're my ichiban, for so many reasons, and because I respect you and admire you so much, I want to dedicate you some of my horrid drawings inspired in the fanfic you and your co-workers inspired me to write XD

I'll bake a cake, this weekend, I promise (within' Nagase's, V6's 15th anniversary, my protégè's Hiroki's and maybe some more...), but this drawings, are only dedicated to you. Your based character has grown a lot since I started writing the fanfic, I don't think it resembles to you at all XD (although your personality inspired it), but if the real Rei ever encountred such troublesome guy like he is... she'd have it too hard, ne?

Now you've catched up with my age, keep on working as hard as always, give us more movies, respect your Riida (specially your Riida), and keep on protecting KenKen (he's got such a big heart he needs some love too ¬¬)... but never get married on a rush, and think it harder before getting a girl in your life, coz lately you seem to be in a rush to get hitched XD I hope this girl from Fukuoka (great town!) takes proper care of you, and doesn't do the same *cough* uknowwhooo did to you. The day you entered the Johnny's you blessed us!!!

Some stuff

First, I've got to say, it made me sad watching today's announcement of VOX being finally down T_T, but this TypePad is cool. The interface looks like a Wordpress dashboard from the inside, and the blog theme I chosed is pretty :D

 

Plus it has more options and tools... I'll take my time to find out how to use all of them ¬¬

Another thing I want to say, is that I had some troubles with my sites while making a new community for one of my upcoming projects... but it seems is all back to normal now ^^ , when I've got more time, I'll try making a better main page for the new The Pink Ranger [dot] Com Series

 

Also, I'm working in the next Barcelona's Manga Feir, and we've about to close the first Fanzine... and also preparing the other one we're making this year. I hope that the one we just created this year can get printed out at time U_U" its name is Idolmania, and is about all types of Asian idols. Language we used is Spanish, because at this feir people come from all over Spain.

I'm studying now for N3 (NOKEN) , but got to make a break because of the Fanzine deadline :D

And I've done the TOPIK test, which I won't pass for sure, but I've learned so much while preparing it this summer.

I'm happy because the things I'm working on right now, seem to be on their own way to succeed. And if they don't, at least I've given my best.

On Hold

Jeez! I haven't got time to come here and make another personal post since last month U_U"

I've been fine, and working hard, even having some little spare time... but I had to write for the Fanzine (and I still do, because there's a lot of reports to do this year) and do other stuff, so I didn't feel like coming here to spit everything from me, not at nights.

Ever since I turned 30, I'm taking life more in a 100% view. I'm trying to live every day full loaded, and not wasting any bits of time I've got. I'm studying damn hard for my Topik Basic Level test, and I haven't got time to check out N3 level for this year's NOKEN but I'll do it before they close the applications.

This week, we've got another event: AKB @ Deep 2010. Is already the 3rd edition, and the boys who organize it are giving all their best. So I'm giving my best too, working on the little Maid & Host Café we hosted since last year.
I couldn't count on my usual staff for that, but I took on the challenge to organize it with friends replacing them and people who would've come as volunteers to be the actual Maids & Host staff. And I (we) succeeded. I say (we) because, despite my usual staff will be out of this one event for several reasons, one of them is still coming on her day off, and the other one is just our new member, so it'll be her first time.

I'm so happy to see I've got such great friends who joined me into this and even wanted to help with everything they've could. They won't probably working as full staff after that, but they've already done a lot agreeing to help me with this one. They all understood the need we have to carry on with this if we want to publish the two new Fanzines this year and re-release the old one. Barcelona's Manga Feir is way too hard to prepare, and we still have to send our prototipes to the company that organizes it.

I'm sad though, because my current staff is missing this one, and we all enjoyed it so much last year. Anyway, if we can make it, we'll have more surprises later this year ^^

I really want to do a lot of things, but one by one.

I loved to work while everybody was out on their vacations, when Barcelona gets emptied of their citiziens it becomes really cool. But well, this month is a final chapter, and then I re-start with lessons, work, and the current Manga stuff again... and NOKEN. I should decide which level to take really soon T_T I just hope we can all pass the Topik test, since we've been working hard to learn the stuff we needed and to get used with the Topik test questions. Anyway, I know it'll be hard to do.

My korean is still too basic, but my understanding of it (when I read it) has improved a lot. Now I've got to catch up with the listening and start being able to have conversations with it XD Then... then I shall keep learning the stuff for the next level... ¬¬ since Asian languages have a lot of things to learn.

I miss working on my Japanese, but I needed to get this break to focus on the Korean basics. And I already worked hard on July with my Kanji, my beloved Kanji ^_^

I wrote more Fanfic, but it won't get published in here yet. Sorry, I just need some time, so I can finnish all the things I started XD

I keep on having new ideas for new fanfics, but now is not the time to do so.

To all the people who're here, by my side, right now. A thousand thanx. You made my wheel turn, and that changed my mood 180º ;D

Pre-30's

OK, still some hours to stay in my 29's... ¬¬ and I could finally finish the VOLUME IV of Upside-Down that I'd been secretly writing not letting my proof-readers now... ^^

I'm not uploading it here yet, because they will need some time to read it, since is the whole VOLUME instead of having it chapter by chapter.

I'm a lot busier these days. I'm not even taking holidays. I'm studying, and sewing dresses for a Maid Café we'll organize in September.

This week I'm not going to work, but this isn't holidays, because I'm just taking my shifts in the next weeks :D

On Saturday I'd got a little karaoke party, but tomorrow's the big one! I'll be busy the whole day thought :S

Well, this year I've been too focused on learning Japanese and Korean, and I've worked harder than the previous one. Some bad things had happened, but the good ones had caused a stronger effect on me, so I'm O.K.

Despite of what people will think, I don't turn 30 until tomorrow at 16:00 (4 p.m.), so is not 'happy bday' till then ;)

LOST a Theory by my friend Ernesto [Spoiler]

This was meant to be at TheoriesOnLost.com but it seems no register form is reachable... so I've left a comment at the blog its owner has, not knowing whether it'll be replied... I really wanted to post that there, since I don't want to join any forum just to post this... and that site is only for Theories, not like the other LOST forums. Also, because I usually visit that site, I wanted to share that theory there.

This is something my friend Ernesto came up with. You can find the original Spanish text at ThePinkRanger.com my website. I just limited to translate it into English so it can reach as much fans & Theory makers as possible, but it seems I shall wait until I can actually post it at the site I wanted to post it T_T

Here it goes:

I believe that the writers of this show have based the character of Smokie in a few theories but when I think  about its qualities there’s one myth that comes to my mind: the djinn (or geenies).

The djinn are geenies of semitic mythology that were later introduced into islamic beliefs. They appear to be being of fire that DON’T PROVOKE smoke, they can be whether good or bad. They are masters of the freewill and, because of that, they can obvey whoever they choose: God or The Devil. But even The Devil himself is sometimes considered to be a geenie.

Geenies are different than the angels, as they share the fisical world with the human race, and they can also be invisible or take different body-shapes.
Geenies are a malicious specie, but they aren’t necesserely evil. They’re usually jokers and tricksters. They can be invisible or shapeshift as they please. They can walk across walls, travel with extraordinary speed, get the shape of human beigns and supplant relatives and friends.
They can be dominated with a simply object (Like Aladin’s marvelous lamp) and become slaves of the owner of such object.
This belief extended into other cultures, one of them, Guanche’s mythology (Canary Islands).

About  Lost:

• - "this" geenie is composed by smoke only without fire, opposite from the semitic geenies.

• - In this case, it could be a malicious geenie or even The Devil himself, who’s also considered a Geenie.

• - "Our" geenie shares the World with the Human race and takes different human shapes to appear, usually shapes from people that are close to our main characters, relatives or friends, so he can manipulate them as he pleases.

• - The fact that geenies can be dominated by a simply object could match with the possibility that the Island is that object. This could be supported by the metaphor we see on Episode 9  of this 6th Season, when  "the geenie" breaks a bottle like it was his prison establishing a simil with the magic lamps that contain some Geenies.

• - If the Island is the lamp of this geenie, then he’s the slave of the man who posseses the Island: Jacob?

• - Magic lamps always have been a coveted object, to get out the geenie that contain or not. This could be the reason why Widmore wants to get back to the Island so bad.

• - We’ve also find here a dilemma about Jacob: is he an angel or a simple human? Angels cannot live in human’s world, but Jacob only appears in crucial moments and only to certain characters. Maybe Richard, could be interpreted as his prophet who spreads his message. The other option, maybe Jacob is a human being, who can die and be substitute by another human. Although, why not, couldn’t he be another geenie? It seems that he can make real some people’s wishes... However, do angels and geenies die? Is Jacob really death?

• - mythology says that, geenies can provoke madness. Maybe that’s why they mean when they say that some charachters are infected, as they behavior makes us think they’re gone crazy.

• - I also find curious that this belief is also present at Canary Islands, like the legend of San Borondón Island, which says that this particular Island appears and disappears in different locations of Atlantic’s Ocean. Both are related to Richard Alpert’s origins.

Last but not least, we have to consider this misterious ALT line, where all the main charachters look like they’ve achieved what they were wishing,  but they cannot be really happy nor feel complete. This could be related to djinn’s legends: When they make real a wish to someone, they can twist it. The wish comes true but, not in a satisfactory way. Take as an example: Desmond wishes to be accepted by Widmore and in this ALT line we’ve seen him getting it, but he doesn’t have Penny’s love and he feels uncomplete. This makes me think that the ALT line isn’t an Alternative nor Alternate reality, but a trick created by "the geenie".

Irascible

Recently I've been just like the volcano that's currently spitting ashes to the air of half Europe's Countries.

Due to different situations, and certain people... I've been down, and up (because of other good people), and down, and up... like I was heating my lava just at the edge of starting spitting ashes to the air that surrounds me.

It's Spring also, and that means I'm under medication, and that medication makes a difference in my mood changes, and it irritates me sometimes...

I made a dangerous cocktail of emotions, and hurting, and then I jumped up to conclusions unfairly quickly. And because of that, I hurt someone else who didn't deserve it, and when I got a clear explanation, I realized I let my emotions get out of control and I hurt someone who didn't hurt me first.

But the fact this person is and will be around those people who contributed to my downs, and downs, and downs... and it's a fact they don't even care... it helped me to be blindly spitting ashes into the eyes of someone who didn't know what's going on.

Today I was feeling better but, yet, another image comes to my way and I can't help but keep on heating lava, since the indifference truly hurts more than any other weapon. I hope that one day I can move on, but the attitude of some people really makes me sick.

If I could now, I would actually take a long break from everything, and disappear. But then, it comes all that people who make me up, up, and up...

I just wish that my ashes don't end up closing all the communication ports that are around me.

Not working in my Japanese site today. Sorry. I switched my job day because of the Weather. I know, must sound cheesy, but is not when I had a massive headache last week because of the wind, and today it was already hitting hard at 6a.m. plus it's raining... I'm not even stepping out to go to study. Let's leave it for tomorrow... just for today XD

You guessed it right! That means I'm writing... and I took a few minutes to update something at Soompi. Got an account but never used it XD (Name's same as here, so it shouldn't be hard to find).

I watched LOST's last episode T_T no comments... I read some Theories, and I'm wondering whether to write more or not... ... ... XD

PERFECT is already on its way, proof-readers have read the first chapters. ^^

My friends are getting their NOKEN results, just know of one passing it, though... wait for the other 2 to get good news :D

I'm having some ideas for next's Fanzine :D I don't draw, I just write, but I hope next one ends up as good as the first XD (which need to be reprinted in the correct way...)

OMG, I should had uploaded some pics into my Japanese site ages ago T_T but I've been busy & having headaches again... and since it takes me some time to type in Japanese... I've been delaying it, dunno when, but I'll try posting those soon XD

I also should write some e-mails... in Japanese... about TOKIO's last single (is ACE!) to one of my dearest friends :D

It was that much serious that I hadn't touched the computer nearly for more than 5 days, and I had to skip a lesson and an exam on Thursday and Friday T_T I was gutted.

Now I feel better, but if doesn't rain, I can get worse... and my nose is giving me pain (again...)

All of this 'drama' just to say that I've finished VOLUME III of Upside-Down. The Rise is over! And now I'm having a hiatus because I want to work in something else and I'm gonna need time.

If it were short chapters, then I would also post them one by one at my Live Journal, but since those are too long, I'm afraid I won't XD

This VOLUME doesn't have a conclusion, is too opened, so don't worry if you were reading it (if, cos I know only a few proofreaders are bothering to read it, and some are even too hooked on the story), because the story will continue eventually... and still there's a lot more to come. I have plans for everything, even when the story seems to have a will of its own sometimes...

It's just that for the new project (that will probably be less interesting to my proofreaders, but that I really want to write) I need to take some time to not extend the chapters that much, and to make a writing structure that satisfies me.

Writing Upside-Down is so much fun to me, but I needed a break XD (yeah, I know I'm so slow on writing it, but I mean it).

Gloomier...

Well, I'm a little down/pissed/angry ... with some people, for letting me down, every now and then, and leaving me apart while they think they don't nothing wrong...

I'm tired of some people always acting almighty and looking at me over their shoulders...

And I'm tired of always stomping onto the same stone again and again...

I should be used to it by now, but still it pisses me off somehow.

Anyway, this post is to say I changed my hairstyle and updated this VOX's pictures.
I chose pink as the bg color because is all about the #UchibacktoKanjani8 campaign we're doing in Twitter and some other places.

I haven't wrote for a while, but is because of lack of time.

I guess February won't be my month, after all...
